Delite mountain and Packster nuvinci are among the most innovative products of 2017.

The Delite mountain and Packster nuvinci models by Riese & Müller, the German manufacturer of premium E-Bikes, have been presented with the Design & Innovation Award 2017.

The Design & Innovation Award was created in 2013 and is the leading award in the bike industry. It goes far beyond the expectations of other awards as it aims to improve the international bike industry long-term, create inspirations, define trends and communicate know-how across countries. The products submitted are intensively tested, examined and discussed by an experienced team made up of experts from the Enduro Mountainbike, E-Mountainbike and Gran Fondo Cycling magazines. Insider knowledge from future-oriented discussions with the bike industry as well as external trendsetters and renowned companies is also taken into consideration. Only the best and most innovative products are recognised with the Design & Innovation Award.

The Delite mountain excelled in the category “E-Mountain Bikes”. It stands out as a true wonder of comfort due to its high-quality frame, Control Technology with full suspension and mountain bike tires with superb grip. DualBattery technology and components such as fixed lighting and drinking bottles on each side of the head tube enhance its suitability for touring. “Ride further, experience more!” describes the winning model’s motto.

The Packster nuvinci came first in the “Urban” category. Its clear, minimalistic design and good handling even fully loaded convinced the panel of experts. The DualBattery concept offering twice the range and the powerful Bosch Performance CX motor provide reliable assistance even on longer rides. The Packster nuvinci also scored points due to the variability of its accessories and was described as a “ground-breaking E-Cargo bike”.
