Mühltal, Germany, 01/07/2024: Riese & Müller, the premium manufacturer of e-bikes and cargo bikes, is introducing free fully comprehensive insurance cover including recovery service for the first year for all e-bikes equipped as standard with an RX Chip. The company is therefore offering a comprehensive no-hassle package consisting of a high-quality e-bike, digital services and comprehensive insurance cover – your one-stop shop.

In the first year, purchasers of the Delite5, Homage5, Packster2 70, UBN Five, UBN Six and UBN Seven models equipped with RX Chip as standard can activate the ConnectCare Free service free of charge for 1 year.* Riders therefore benefit from an extensive package with fully comprehensive e-bike insurance and recovery service in the event that the bike is stolen.

Whether the e-bike or individual components have been damaged by a fall or accident – Europe-wide, 24/7 insurance cover will manage the claim without payment of an excess.

The free-of-charge ConnectCare Free service package corresponds to the service provided by the ConnectCare Smart service. It is available in Germany, Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Austria and the Netherlands, and can be extended at a charge in the following year, if required.

RX Connect. The Digitalisation of the E-Bike.

RX Connect is the digital extension of Riese & Müller bikes and takes the riding experience to a new level. Featuring an RX Chip permanently installed in the frame and the associated RX Service, the e-bike is fully covered, and also provides riders with access to all key information. When the service is activated, the RX Connect app shows the location of the e-bike, provides a digital motion alarm and automatically records rides, including comprehensive riding statistics.
