Hi, I'm Greg. Originally, I'm based in Nice, France. From a very young age, I've had a passion for nature, particularly marine biology. Today I live my passion for underwater photography.

Fifteen years ago, an unlikely encounter changed my life. At that time, I was running an electronic weighing scales business. Whenever I had a free moment, I'd escape to explore the Mediterranean Sea. Then, one day, I was blessed with a rare and incredible encounter with a large group of pilot whales: I'll never forget that moment, when on the bow of my little boat, there were around 80 whales, socializing. I was drifting peacefully, with the engine off, and the encounter lasted several dozen minutes. It seemed unreal, here in the Mediterranean.

All of a sudden I realized that as a human being I had to try to live my dream, without compromise. My dream is to be in contact with nature, with marine wildlife. I decided to dedicate my life to nature photography, to tell stories and raise awareness of environmental protection.

I'm on the front line of observing climate change. Back in the day, we used to organize expeditions to Antarctica to observe the effects of global warming. But today, we're seeing and experiencing the full force of global warming at home in France and around the Mediterranean basin, with unprecedented fires, droughts, floods and storms. The climate has become unpredictable, the Mediterranean is suffering from a submarine heatwave, and this summer, we broke temperature records again.

When I'm not out exploring the world's oceans and seas, I enjoy spending time with my family and in nature with my children. The rest of the time, after taking them to school, I work from home, where I prepare my next missions, edit my images and publish them through magazines, photographic exhibitions, conferences and write stories about the Oceans.

I live on a hill of Nice, so using a bike seemed impossible, but the Supercharger has revolutionized my lifestyle. Thanks to its power, I can ride the quotes several times a day. I no longer use my car to go into town or at the beach, and every time I use it it's a real pleasure. Boring journeys have become moments of pleasure and have developed a strong spirit of freedom. Just taking my daughter to the kindergarten is very exciting, it's always a new adventure and a sweet moment shared with her. On top, this mode of transport helps to keep me in shape in my daily life, and I can train and challenge myself in the surrounding mountains.

I'm (re)discovering my city and my backyard from a new angle. It's easy, time-saving and gives me a real sense of freedom. For the past few years, even before covid, the city's policy has been to give priority to new modes of transport. Major initiatives have been undertaken with the construction of the tramway, the parking of electric cars and the use of bicycles with the creation of numerous cycle paths instead of roads.

My best moments are with my little girl Lou-Jane (almost 2 years old), who rides everywhere, from the bakery to the beach.
