Michael Schneider becomes Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and a member of the Management Board

Mühltal, Germany, 30/09/2024: From 1 October 2024, Michael Schneider will be responsible for the financial management of Riese & Müller in the newly created position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO). As CFO, Michael Schneider will report directly to the Managing Directors.

Authorised signatory Schneider, who has been at Riese & Müller since 2016, has been in the role of Head of Finance until now. As CFO, he will be a member of the eight-person Management Board, the company’s central leadership body, thus expanding it to add this key strategic role.

“Michael Schneider has a high level of expertise and many years of experience. His strategic mindset and in-depth understanding of our company make him the perfect person to take on the newly created CFO job. In his new role, he will make an important contribution to Riese & Müller’s corporate development,” says Dr Sandra Wolf, CEO of Riese & Müller.

Michael Schneider is a graduate in business management and studied International Accounting, Controlling and Turnaround Management at the SRH University of Applied Sciences Heidelberg. Prior to joining Riese & Müller, he worked in Finance & Accounting at small and medium-sized enterprises.
