ConnectCare Basic
In the event of your bike being stolen, your bike can be located and recovered. If your E-Bike cannot be found, is damaged after it has been recovered, or if parts have been stolen, you can claim for an equivalent E-Bike of equal value, a free repair, or the missing spare parts.
ConnectCare Smart
Regardless of whether your E-Bike has been fully or partially damaged by a fall or an accident making it unrideable: your E-Bike will be fully repaired – without the need for you to pay an excess.
All the features of ConnectCare Basic are also included.
ConnectCare Comfort
ConnectCare Comfort offers you comprehensive mobility protection: In the event of an electric failure or mechanical breakdown, we guarantee that we will cover the costs up to €200, to get your bike to the dealer for repair and get you to your destination.
All the features of ConnectCare Basic and ConnectCare Smart are also included.

When you book a ConnectCare service, you automatically get access to all ConnectRide functions.
Always be connected to your Riese & Müller E-Bike. Use the Riese & Müller RX Connect app to access practical functions and services for your E-Bike:
● Live location: See where your E-Bike is on a map
● Digital Alarm: A Push-Notification informs you of suspect movements and the distance of your E-Bike from where you parked it (e.g. in the event of a theft)
● Automatic journey statistics and display of carbon savings compared to car journeys
● Battery status of the RX Chip.
Protecting your privacy when processing personal data is a matte of great importance to us. Any data collected when using RX Services will be processed in accordance with the applicable privacy laws. Refer to the RX Services Privacy Policy for detailed information on data processing.
The Riese & Müller RX Connect app
The free RX Connect app from Riese & Müller is the mobile dashboard for your E-Bike and connects you directly to your E-Bike via the RX Chip (when you have an active RX Service).
You can also simply and easily report a theft. We'll take care of the rest.
The smartphone app for iOS devices is available in the App Store, and on Google Play for Android devices.
App
The Riese & Müller RX Connect app requires iOS 13, Android 10 or later.
The app is available in English, German, Dutch, French, Italian and Spanish.
Regions in which RX Service ConnectRide can be used
The RX ConnectRide service is available in the EU, Gibraltar, Guernsey, Jersey, Iceland, Jersey, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, Norway, the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland. The regions in which it can be used will gradually be extended to include other countries. RX Service ConnectRide services are not available outside of these regions. Data recording stops when the bike moves to a region outside the usage area; the map will then show the last detected location.
Insurance cover term, conditions and details
Duration
The ConnectCare Service package is concluded for the minimum contract term agreed upon at the conclusion of the contract. During the minimum contract term, the cancellation period is one month to the end of the minimum contract term. If the contract is not cancelled at the end of the minimum contract term, it is automatically extended for an indefinite period and can be cancelled at any time at the end of the current service period.
Additional Locking Requirements
You must always secure your bike to an immovable object with a Lock (additional to the frame lock) whilst it is left unattended by you away from your home and when a storage location is not solely controlled by you.
Locks supplied by Riese & Müller are sufficient. All other locks must be at least ABUS security level 10 or equivalent.
List of certified locks:
ABUS (security 10 or higher) <span style="color: inherit;">VdS approved (A+ or B+), AXA hiplock, Kryptonite, Linka (with chain), Master lock, Texlock, Trelock, ART (category 2 or higher), FUB (2 wheels or more), Sold Secure Silver (or Gold), U-Lock Onguard, SRA.</span>
For Cargo Bikes (valid for policies activated or renewed from 14.8.24)
If your bike is classified as a <span style="color: inherit;">Cargo Bike you must secure it with two additional locks to an immovable object. You must connect your bike through the frame with at least one of the locks. You must adhere to this all times whilst your bike is left unattended by you away from your home and when a storage location is not solely controlled by you. Both additional locks must have an equal or higher security rating than set out above.</span>
Conditions
RX Service ConnectCare can only be booked by private individuals resident in Portugal and for their private use.
Please refer to the General Insurance Terms and Conditions plus your insurance certificate for all insurance-related details of the ConnectCare packages.
Please note that with the ConnectCare insurance, you can only claim for an incident that occurred within the period of cover.

Wir leiten den Versand Ihres Bikes in die Wege, sobald der volle Rechnungsbetrag auf dem Konto unseres Zahlungsdienstleisters eingegangen ist. Je nach Zahlungsmethode und Bank kann dies bis zu 4 Werktage in Anspruch nehmen. Nach Zahlungseingang beträgt die durchschnittliche Lieferzeit 12 bis 14 Werktage.
Beim Direktversand erhalten Sie einen Tracking-Link, sobald Ihr Bike unser Lager verlassen hat.
Im Falle einer Click & Collect Bestellung werden Sie von Ihrem Fachhändler kontaktiert, sobald Sie Ihr Bike abholen können.
