Access: via RX Connect app (iOS/Android)

The practical connectivity features at a glance:

Theft alert: Once activated in the RX Connect app, the owner will receive an alarm by push notification in the event of a suspected movement (a multi-stage alarm with siren and flashing light can be configured with some models*).

Digital lock: The E-Bike is digitally locked via the smartphone and is alarm protected.

GPS tracking: The bike's position and riding statistics are automatically recorded. The bike's live location can be viewed on a map within the RX Connect app.

Riding statistics: Distance, duration, carbon savings, speed*, battery consumption* and levels of assistance used are displayed to analyse your rides.

*This feature is only available for bikes with Fazua drive system.

The Riese & Müller RX Connect App

The free-of-charge RX Connect app from Riese & Müller is the mobile dashboard to your e-bike and connects you directly to your bike via the RX Chip (if RX Service is booked). The smartphone app for iOS devices is available in the App Store, and for Android devices on Google Play.

Data protection

Any data collected when using ConnectRide will be processed in accordance with the applicable privacy laws. Refer to the RX Services Privacy Policy for detailed information on data processing.

Requirements for use
App

The Riese & Müller RX Connect app requires iOS 13, Android 11 or later. The app is available in German, Dutch, French, Italian, Spanish and English.

Usage regions

The service works in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, France, Spain, Portugal and Italy. Only for Bikes with Fazua drive system: The service works in the countries of the European Union, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Norway and the United Kingdom. Further countries will be added over time. ConnectRide service features are not available in other regions. Data recording stops when the bike moves to a region outside the usage regions; the map will then show the last detected location.

Term

The contract with Riese & Müller for the service benefits contained herein is concluded for the minimum contract term agreed upon at the conclusion of the contract. During the minimum contract term, the cancellation period is one (1) month to the end of the minimum contract term. If the contract is not cancelled at the end of the minimum contract term, it is automatically extended for an indefinite period and can be cancelled at any time at the end of the current service period. The exact service period can be found on the respective invoice.
