RX Connect is the digital extension of your e-bike. And we always ensure we make the most out of your riding experience, while supporting you individually and providing you with important information about your e-bike. The digital services are being constantly extended to ensure the very best ‘Rider Experience’ (abbreviated to RX).

Everything in one place.

Registering your e-bike gives you a free premium warranty and access to your own personal My Bike Account (service platform) where you can access your bike's technical data and manage your personal data yourself. My Bike is being continuously extended, giving you access to a growing number of functions. Of course, we adhere to the most stringent data protection standards at all times.

One small chip for an e-bike – one giant leap for mobility.

The invisible yet permanently fitted RX Chip transforms your e-bike into a connected e-bike. It enables you to localise and connect your bike, providing access to the ConnectRide RX Service. The RX Chip boasts wireless-based geolocation technology and extensive sensors and transmits your data, including location and riding statistics, by state-of-the-art radio technology. This technology transmits signals across a wider range and with deep building penetration coupled with low battery consumption. The chip gets its power from the internal power supply in the bike, but, thanks to its built-in power store, keeps transmitting for quite a while longer, even if the e-bike battery is removed. There is no need to replace the RX Chip for service updates. New functions and services are provided automatically via over-the-air updates.

The cockpit for UBN bikes

The RX Connect app is the mobile cockpit for your UBN bike. The app connects you directly to your bike via the RX Chip (if an RX Service is booked). Use the RX Connect app as a bike computer on your handlebar while riding, letting you keep an eye on speed and performance data at all times. You can also access detailed riding statistics, including GPS data, at a later stage. If required, you can also switch on the digital alarm for your UBN bike via the app to be notified should it be moved or removed. Push notifications and geolocation services need to be enabled to use these features.

The app also offers access to dealers and service workshops close to you plus all the data in your My Bike Account. When you request a location, it also informs you about the battery level of the RX Chip, allowing you to promptly charge it if it has been idle for some time. The Riese & Müller RX Connect app requires iOS 13, Android 10.0 or later. The app is available in German, Dutch, French, Italian, Spanish and English.
