Udo Jankowski to strengthen the Riese & Müller management team from 01/08/2026

Mühltal, Germany, 01/08/2026: Riese & Müller is expanding its management team: Udo Jankowski will join the management of the premium e-bike manufacturer on 1 August 2026. He will help to shape the future operational development of the company together with CEO Dr. Sandra Wolf.

Udo Jankowski brings to the table many years of international experience as an executive in the engineering and mobility sector. After graduating in Mechanical Engineering, he took on management roles in technology-driven companies. As an entrepreneur, he successfully built up an engineering company, and grew it to become an international organisation with subsidiaries and sites in Europe, Asia and North America. In recent years, he has been responsible for the overall organisation in his capacity as Chair of the holding company and as Managing Director of the subsidiaries. His experience involves the management of global teams, scaling-up of companies, and the initiation and implementation of complex innovation and transformation programmes.

His expertise lies in dovetailing engineering excellence, product development, and long-term growth. Alongside his many years in management, Udo Jankowski is also an adjunct professor in Leadership at the universities of EBS Oestrich-Winkel and EUFH Cologne. He also holds a management role in the German Automotive Industry Association e.V. (VDA), where he has helped to shape the future of the mobile engineering sector for eight years in his role as Chair of the Development Service Providers Working Group.

Following the departure of Heiko Müller from the operational management team on 31/07/2026, this expansion of the management heralds in the next development phase of Riese & Müller. 

As CEO, Dr. Sandra Wolf has overall responsibility for Riese & Müller and, in this role, represents the family-owned business within the management. 
She explains: “Udo Jankowski joins us as a leader who combines technological excellence with entrepreneurial experience. His expertise will drive forward our future growth in a targeted manner.“
