On the move.
Responsibility Report 01
Our Responsibility Report means we are taking an important step in our journey towards becoming the most sustainable company in the E-Bike industry in 2025. “On the move” is our guiding principle for showing comprehensively and transparently how Riese & Müller think about and implement sustainable business and responsible action – where we are now and what goals we will be working on in the coming years.

Strategy
Four levels of responsibility
The subject of “responsibility” represents a fixed component of our corporate strategy. The basis of our entrepreneurial action is composed of four levels of responsibility.
Culture
Creative impulses and ideas form an effective product and corporate culture in harmony with nature. Assuming responsibility for a future worth living.
Ecology
Sustainable production of energy, avoidance of CO2 emissions and a sensible waste management system for a healthy interrelationship between our environment and the company.
Economy
Efficient use of high-quality materials, avoidance of waste and utilization of natural alternatives for an environmentally production process, as well as sustainable efficiency.
Social
Social commitment and fostering a community feeling as a prerequisite for sustainable collaboration. Meaningful activities and new work models, where people take center stage.

The change begins in Mühltal
We at Riese & Müller are aware that our growing significance on the market as a brand goes hand in hand with a great deal of responsibility. Not just for our products, but above all for nature, the climate, people and society. In order to face this challenge, we will continue to steer the existing corporate culture in a direction that has sustainable thinking and action at its heart. What’s more: We would like to not only take a strong stance for environmental protection but play an active part in a movement promoting responsible utilization of our resources.
Green power and colorful diversity
This credo is already anchored at many points and in the implementation of numerous projects and activities at the company. The construction of the new company headquarters in Mühltal is an important step in this change. The building boasts optimum conditions to achieve our goals and makes the spirit of the brand able to be experienced by anyone who enters it. It reflects Riese & Müller’s innovative prowess, is powered in a completely CO2-neutral manner and provides our employees with good working conditions.
The minimalist-style rooms offer space for thoughts to flow freely, amid a pleasant nature setting. This adapted working environment enables us to foster a new mindset and conduct. These are the ideal basic conditions to pursue our path towards an environment in which the connection between creativity and environmental protection plays a central role across all activities.
A sign of binding commitment
We are making a voluntary pledge, embodied by a special label. In our fields of activity, this label reveals interconnections, provides guidance and gives new ideas. Our “Seal of Responsibility” also acts as a reminder, because it emphasizes the binding commitment.
We report transparently on how we are adhering to our ambitions, throughout all our activities, in terms of ecological, economic, social and cultural responsibility.
