The Fazua system

Fazua, the drive manufacturer, is synonymous with natural riding style, intuitive operation and light weight. The system is ideal for lightweight E-Bikes and is used on Riese & Müller UBN bikes.

Riese & Müller UBN bikes feature the Fazua Ride 60 drive. Thanks to the perfectly coordinated interplay of the individual components, the drive system delivers an extremely natural riding experience – the motor assistance is perfectly integrated into the natural cycling movement. And, visually, the system is also integrated almost seamlessly into the bikes. Its intuitive operation lets you concentrate fully on the road at all times, with no need for a traditional display.

The Fazua motor

The Ride 60 motor unit combines a motor, gear, crank bearing and sensor in one. The motor always provides the right assistance with a maximum torque of 60 Nm, a maximum power of 450 W and the choice of three riding modes. It also works almost silently and, thanks to its compact dimensions, can be integrated unobtrusively into the frame. Weighing only 1.96 kg, the motor unit is also extremely lightweight.

The Fazua battery

Thanks to its optimum cell arrangement, the Fazua Energy 430 provides an impressive 430 Wh of power but weighs only 2.3 kg: a lightweight amongst batteries. Its compact design means that it can be fully integrated in the frame and is nonetheless easy to remove. The battery is charged when fitted to the bike – or can be removed and charged on any normal 110/220 V power socket.

The Fazua LED control hub and Ring Control

The LED hub in the top tube uses coloured LEDs to inform riders about the riding mode selected and the current charge level. It also features an USB-C charging port for your smartphone, plus Bluetooth to pair your smartphone with the free RX Connect app, and then use it as a display. The system is controlled by the Ring Control on the handlebar. Use it to select riding modes, activate the pushing aid or switch on the light.

The Fazua Control Hub

The Control Hub combines the functions of the LED Hub and the Ring Control. Use it to select riding modes, activate the pushing aid or switch on the light. The coloured LEDs on the Control Hub inform the rider about the riding mode selected and the current charge level. The Control Hub also features a USB-C charging port for your smartphone, plus Bluetooth to pair your smartphone with the free RX Connect app, and then use it as a display.
